For the Handicapped

Sept. 1989: "Pasona Sunrise (Currently Pasona Heartful)" -Helping the Handicapped Integrate into Society -
Pasona founded the Pasona Sunrise with a mission to help the handicapped utilize their individual skills and talents to become independent members of society. This is accomplished through aiding handicapped individuals seeking jobs in expanding the different employment categories available to them. The Sunrise Group works to help develop the talents of these special people in a variety of ways - through increased social participation and promoting their employment.
Aug. 1992: "The Art Village Project" - Supporting Artistic Talent -
The Art Village Project was created based on the concept that "talent knows no handicap." This project aims to expand job opportunities available to the handicapped through the promotion of their original artwork.
The Project, through the help and support of a large number of individuals and corporations, provides handicapped individuals with talent in painting and sculpture with a place to carry out their creative work. The Project also aims to provide a working space where communication and exchange between the handicapped and physically-able can take place.
Jan. 1994: First Annual "Art Village Design Prize"
The Art Village Project accepts works from all handicapped individuals with artistic talent, and holds an exhibition and awards ceremony in both the Tokyo and Kansai areas.
The "Art Village Design Prize" exhibitions have inspired many unique artists to both begin and continue with their artistic endeavors.
July 1997: "Handicapped Persons Temporary Staffing Service"
With a goal of helping to expand the range of job opportunities available to talented handicapped individuals seeking employment, the Pasona Group established Japan's first temporary staffing service aimed at placing handicapped individuals in corporations.
Using the combined expertise of Pasona's established temporary staffing system, and the Sunrise Group's ten years of proven results in supporting handicapped employment, it is hoped that this temporary staffing service will provide even more job support for the handicapped.
April 2003: Establishment of special subsidiary company “Pasona Heartful,” with the goal of further promoting employment for the handicapped

The Angel Tennis Cup - An Annual Event Since 1993 -
The wheelchair tennis tournament "Angel Cup" began in 1993, from the hope that both handicapped individuals and the physically-able could gain something from enjoying sports together. The event is held annually in both Kansai and Tokyo, and every year over one hundred Pasona Group employees volunteer to help make it happen. Through their help, and the support of a number of corporations, our circle of friendship through sports is growing every year.
