TOKYO, September 1, 2016 – CAPLAN Corporation and Central Group have collaborated to establish a new company, CAPLAN (Thailand) Co., Ltd., which offers personnel training programs in Thailand and other ASEAN nations. Operations are to begin on September 1st of this year.
From service industries to manufacturing, horizons have been broadening for Japanese businesses that are looking to expand into Thailand. Along with these opportunities comes a rising need for training in Japanese-style “omotenashi”, customer service, and business manner. Omotenashi refers to the Japanese spirit of selfless hospitality and utmost respect.
Utilizing the first-rate omotenashi practices of Japanese airlines, CAPLAN’s “J-Presence Academy” has provided training programs to over 6,000 major companies, including hotels, airports, and department stores.
To strengthen the Company’s first venture into Southeast Asia, CAPLAN (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has been established in conjunction with Central Group, the leading distributor conglomerate in Thailand. Bilingual former cabin crew members who were in charge of international flights will lead training programs such as business manner, training targeting a certain rank, language etc.
By means of CAPLAN’s expertise, the new company will expand the reach of Japan’s world-renowned omotenashi and support the efforts of local and international businesses in cultivating a superb personnel base.
