Approximately 70 companies to participate in job fair for foreign students, held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya
Pasona “Job-Haku” will be held on March 10th
Also to be held in Nagoya for the first time on April 23rd

TOKYO, March 10, 2017- Pasona Inc. will be holding “Job-Haku”, a job fair primarily aimed towards foreign students who are studying in Japan. Job-Haku will be held in Tokyo on Friday, March 10th and Sunday, March 12th, as well as in Osaka on Saturday, April 15th and Nagoya on Sunday, April 23rd.

This year marks the 10th anniversary since Pasona began holding Job-Haku in 2007, a job fair which focuses on foreign students. Year by year, companies see increased needs for global personnel as globalization and diversity become a larger factor in company policies. On the other hand, Japan has a very unique process of employment screening, including group interviews and aptitude tests, and foreign students who are unfamiliar with the job-search in Japan may be perplexed by the procedure.

Job-Haku will be held in order to deepen these students’ understanding of Japanese companies as well as to provide matching services between foreign students and Japanese companies. This year, three major banks which have been gaining popularity among foreign students will be participating at the Tokyo fair for the first time, and Job-Haku will open its first job fair in Nagoya.
