Opening of New Attraction set for Saturday, April 20th
Coming to the Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori” in Awajishima Park, 
an interactive ninja attraction “NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO”
Campaign bus between Kansai’s three airports and Awaji Island’s “Nijigen no Mori” available from April 15th

TOKYO, March 18th, 2019 – Nijigennomori Co. Ltd. will inaugurate its new attraction of the Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori” in Awajishima Park on Saturday, April 20th. In the “NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO” it will be possible to experience the world of the popular anime “Naruto” and “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations”.

West Japan JR Bus Company and Honshi Kaikyou Bus Co., Ltd. will operate “NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO” campaign “Kakehashi NARUTO Gō” buses between Kansai’s three airports and Awaji Island to coincide with the opening of the new attraction, 

“Nijigen no Mori” and Awaji Island will be linked by bus service to major airports such as Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport), Kobe Airport as well as JR Osaka Station and JR Shin-Kobe Station.

“Nijigen no Mori” will contribute to the economic promotion and regional revitalization of Awaji Island using the animation and manga, the soft power representative of Japan, through opening of “NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO”. This will help with the promotion of the charms of Japan and the Island’s, attracting an abundance of tourists, not only from Japan, but also from abroad, to Awaji Island.

“NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO”: Apr. 8,000m²
Contents:
“NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO” will be based on “Naruto” and “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” starring Boruto, the son of Naruto Uzumaki, protagonist of “Naruto”. Participants can enjoy a mise en scene of the anime character Naruto Uzumaki and Boruto’s Hidden Leaf Village’s attraction which allows them to dive into and experience their world.

①Naruto’s Attraction “Chi no Maki” (地の巻):
The participants will collect “chakra pieces”, scattered in 7 locations, as Hidden Leaf Village’s Shinobi in order to regain world peace by resealing a scoll. Many trials in the form of activities will be awaiting them such as encountering Akatsuki, “Senjutsu” training, and much more.

②Boruto’s Attraction “Ten no Maki”(天の巻):
 A 3D maze attraction of three stories that reproduces the world of Boruto.  The aim of the attraction is to escape from the maze and rescue companions whom have be captured and, in order to do so, the participants will have to make full use of their head and body. Two courses are available: the Uzumaki-Course, and the Uchiha-Course. The maze is attached to a massive Hokage Rock.
・Uzumaki-Course: In this course, the participant’s physical strength as a ninja will be tested. It will come in necessary to join forces with Boruto Uzumaki to overcome many challenges.
・Uchiha-Course: In this course, the participant’s knowledge as a ninja will be tested. Cooperate with Sarada Uchiha in order to break through numerous traps.

③Others:
Visitors will experience the world of Naruto through the attractions, the area, and elements such as a restaurant based on the concept of the anime’s world, Naruto Uzumaki’s favorite ramen shop “Ichi-raku” (一楽). Furthermore, items which can only be found in “Nijigen no Mori”, for example the character’s badges, will be available to purchase.

Overview: Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori”, Awajishima Park, Hyogo Prefecture

Since 2008, Pasona Group has been working with the local governments and local officials of Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture in order to further its regional revitalization businesses by attracting various type of human resources to the Island. In 2013, by request from the Hyogo Prefecture to create an attracting location for tourism utilizing its magnificent nature, the “Awaji Manga/Anime Island Project” from Pasona Group was adopted as a “Proposal for Private Business in Awajishima Park”.

Night Walk Hi no Tori (Phoenix):
Themed around Osamu Tezuka’s manga series, “Phoenix”, this light and sound performance limited to the evenings, after sunset, is made possible by techniques such as projection mapping. Spread on 1.2 kilometers (90 minutes), it is possible to experience a fantastic world based on the original story of the “Phoenix”

Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park:

An athletic park based on the movie “Crayon Shin-chan: Fierceness That Invites Storm! The Battle of the Warring States”

(2)“Challenge! Action Kamen Air Force!”
An attraction in the image of the popular character Action Kamen from Crayon Shin-chan, consisting of gliding through water shooting from giant water guns on a 225m and 140m zipline.



GRAND CHARIOT
Opened on May 16th of last year in the Anime Park “Nijigen no Mori” as a glamping facility which offers activities that allow individuals to feel the nature of Awaji Island’s four season utilizing all five senses. It makes possible to enjoy the best location with the sight of Kobe’s night light on the opposite side of the shore, as well as the starry skies of Awaji Island, in addition to offering dishes prepared with ingredients from the Island.
